When Kaitlyn was first diagnosed, I refused to admit that it was happening, so I was adamant that I didn't want my camera at the hospital. This the only picture we have from her initial hospital stay. It was taken with a cell phone and the quality stinks, but it is probably one of the most meaningful pictures that we have from her entire journey through leukemia. This was a day of hope.
